Parts Associate Boiler Supply Company, Inc. – 4.5 Knoxville, TN Job Details $18 – $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer service Mid-level Microsoft Office 3 years High school diploma or GED Accounting Communication skills Full Job Description Our company is looking for a highly motivated, self-starting individual to fill an opening in our Knoxville TN location. Our company specializes in boiler and boiler related equipment sales, service and repair, with offices in Georgia and Tennessee. The position classification within our company is that of a Parts Associate. Below is a list of the duties, responsibilities & required qualifications necessary to be considered for employment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Answer all incoming parts calls. 2. Responsible for filling all Parts Orders. 3. Provide quotations for customers, Account Managers, and the Service Departments as needed. 4. Create Vendor Purchase Orders and place orders with Vendors. 5. Create Sales Orders, Parts Status, Packing Slip and all necessary paperwork. 6. Pull parts from warehouse to fulfill orders, create shipping labels, etc. 7. Complete Receipt of Goods for incoming Parts Sales, Return of Goods, Parts RMA, Missing Parts, etc. 8. Create bin locations and labels for new parts 9. Track shipments as necessary 10. Monitor Parts Return Queue for returned parts 11. Complete stock transfer to different branches and trucks 12. Work with other departments to make sure inventory is maintained to the highest standards. 13. Reasonable, reliable attendance. 14. Other duties as assigned. 15. Create and place warehouse Stock Orders 16. Receive In and put away Stock Orders 17. Maintain warehouse inventory 18. Assign Bin Locations and make labels for all parts 19. Assist with unloading LTL freight trucks 20. Weekly Cycle Counts (2-4 sections per week) 21. Maintain clean and will organized parts cage with part numbers on all parts 22. Support Account Managers and all Service Department with any assistance needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2‐3 years relevant experience in warehousing Forklift experience preferred (operators certification card is a plus) Ability to remain flexible within the daily responsibilities of the job. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting/Inventory Software.
Customer Service Physical & Personal Requirements :
Ability to lift 50lbs + from floor to waist and waist to above head Able to climb and use a ladder, forklift & scissor lift Ability to stand or sit at a desk for 4+ hours a day Ability to work in varying temperatures (Hot & Cold) Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls Reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
