Parts Specialist 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Memphis, TN 38116 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of automotive parts and supplies, ensuring that our dealership operates efficiently and meets customer needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, supplier management, and a strong understanding of the automotive service industry. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels of automotive parts and supplies to ensure availability for service operations. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking parts usage and ordering. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and availability of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts. Process incoming shipments and organize parts within the warehouse for easy access. Collaborate with service technicians to identify parts needed for repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions. Assist in the development of supply chain strategies to optimize inventory management. Ensure compliance with safety standards within the warehouse environment. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or dealership environment is preferred. Knowledge of automotive service processes, including auto body repair, is a plus. Familiarity with CMMS systems and AS400 software is advantageous. Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage supplier relationships. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with technicians and suppliers.
