The Parts Washer is to ensure that parts are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for their intended use. This involves operating various cleaning equipment, inspecting parts for cleanliness, and organizing and labeling cleaned parts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Remove debris, dirt, grime, oil, grease, and other contaminants from parts using various cleaning methods and solutions
- Checking parts for cleanliness and identifying any remaining contaminants or defects
- Sorting, labeling, and storing cleaned parts for further processing or storage
- Refilling cleaning solutions, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring the equipment is in proper working order
- Adhering to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Perform line clearance and processes orders to ensure continued identification and traceability
- Ensures processes performed and parts produced are compliant and nonconformances are identified and handled per procedure
- Perform operations in compliance with FDA good manufacturing practices and ELOS quality system documentation
- Other duties as assigned
