Reports to:

Head of Acquisitions & Head of Pricing Main Function:

Purchasing material for the company to resell while working closely with mills and logistic companies to keep all branches supplied with the best quality material. In addition, determining appropriate pricing for company products based on a variety of factors. Roles & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Purchasing Agent Duties:

Processing and submitting purchase orders to vendors/suppliers for material to resell Receiving purchase orders to verify accuracy of material deliveries and authorizing payments to vendors/suppliers Evaluating inventory reports to keep branch locations stocked with appropriate levels of material Creating new and modifying existing products in the Sales Order/Warehouse Management System Establishing and growing relationships with vendors/suppliers, mills, and logistic companies Evaluating vendors/suppliers by considering price, quality, availability, and other criteria Meeting with vendors/suppliers to learn about products, services/capabilities, and pricing Analyze aluminum commodities and industry trends to enhance purchasing decision•making

Pricing Analyst Duties:

Analyzing pricing data from industry standards, average cost analysis, previous sales trends, and competitors to report data to decision-makers Implementing pricing changes on products in the Sales Order/Warehouse Management System Maintaining customer price sheets Communicating price changes with all front office personnel (Branch Managers, Outside Sales Reps, and Inside Sales Reps) as well as customers without an assigned Sales Rep Required Skills /

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree w/ focus on Accounting, Finance, or Business Management 1+ years’ work experience in procurement/pricing role and/or the aluminum industry Excellent Microsoft Excel skills Proficient in ERPs (Sales Order/Warehouse Management Systems•Epicor Eclipse a Plus)

Job Type:

Full-time (Hourly) @ Ft. Myers location (11840 Metro Pkwy, Ft. Myers, FL 33966) Monday-Friday (7:00 AM•3:30 PM OR 7:30 AM•4:00 PM) Mandatory Inventory Days a couple times a year (time and a half pay if overtime)
