This individual will play a key role in supporting our sales team by preparing accurate and competitive pricing proposals for commercial and architectural lighting projects. Key Responsibilities Review project drawings, specifications, and fixture schedules to develop comprehensive lighting quotations. Accurately interpret product requirements and select appropriate manufacturers and product lines. Calculate and prepare competitive pricing proposals, incorporating agency margins, freight, and vendor discounts. Coordinate with manufacturers and internal teams to gather up-to-date pricing and availability. Track and manage bid deadlines to ensure timely proposal delivery. Assist sales and project management teams with value engineering and budget pricing as needed. Qualifications Strong mathematical and analytical skills; able to calculate markups, margins, and total project costs accurately. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Prior experience in lighting, electrical distribution, construction estimating, or a similar technical environment preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or quoting software (such as Oasis, SpexPlus, or similar). Self-motivated with a collaborative spirit. Ability to read architectural plans and specifications is a plus.
