Overview:

The Pricebook Analyst assists and works with Marketing, Operations and IT teams to implement and execute internal price book functions and changes including cost and retail updates, vendor maintenance, promotional pricing, taxation and EDI functions. Pricebook Analyst works with PB Manager to ensure and enforce process and data integrity in all aspects of Pricebook implementation. Acts as a liaison with all stakeholders to optimize the process and information flow to ensure accuracy within Price Book.

Responsibilities:

Ensures daily that all PB tickets are addressed from site managers. Implements the set-up of new vendors, products, promotions, categories and pricing as directed by PB manager using PDI Enterprise internally. Works with existing EDI vendors and Category Managers to track missing invoices and cost/retail issues. Maintain open contact with Store Managers and Territory Managers to troubleshoot non-scanning items, pricing discrepancies or inventory control issues. Assists in the process of product item maintenance and manage branded concept food recipes as provided by the food concept managers. Collects, reviews and implements all monthly and bimonthly promotional activity from category management in PDI Enterprise as directed by PB Manager on a timely basis. Creates and distributes all monthly promotional activity to the field as directed by category management. Receives, distributes, collects and processes all weekly price changes from vendors and other vendor price changes as they occur. Works with category managers and retail accounting when needed to troubleshoot Daily Reporting Errors. Maintains integrity in PLU file for all users. Maintains master pricing sheets for DSD vendors. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills 3+ years of experience in a similar pricing analyst role Extensive familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database programs. Generally, proficient with computers. Experience with data entry- specifically price book entry is preferred. Self-motivated and able to function well in an ambiguous environment where functional direction at time may be undetermined. PDI experience a plus
