You will actively engage with visitors, promote our premium natural health products and services, support events that strengthen our presence in the community, while supporting café operations by preparing beverages and food items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for every guest. This role requires enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Customer Engagement & Brand Representation Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional, and knowledgeable manner. Educate customers about Mercola’s health-focused mission and our premium product offerings. Promote in-store events, product launches, and community outreach initiatives. Encourage loyalty program sign-ups and customer participation in special promotions. Sales & Merchandising Support Assist with point-of-sale (POS) transactions and cashier duties. Maintain clean, organized shelves and merchandise displays. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or restocking needs. Café Support Prepare and serve beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and other café items according to recipes and standards. Prepare and serve food including breakfast and lunch items according to recipes and standards. Clean and sanitize café equipment and workspaces in compliance with health and safety regulations. Support café opening and closing procedures as needed.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in customer service, sales, or brand ambassador role. Experience as a barista or in a café/food service setting strongly preferred. Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures for food and beverage preparation. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

Regularly required to reach above shoulder height to access products and promotional materials. Visual and Auditory Demands Good visual acuity required for reading labels, product information, and operating point-of-sale systems. Ability to hear and communicate with customers and team members.
