Airgas is currently seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to generatesales and manage customer relationships. You will be responsiblefor prospecting new clients, enhancing partnerships, buildingrapport with existing customers, and growing your overallterritory. You must have the ability to convert prospects intolong-term Airgas customers by building relationships and fulfillingneeds with quality service. You will establish new customers and expand business with existingcustomers; sharing product knowledge, pricing negotiation andsupply chain fulfillment through effective sales skills andcustomer service practices over the telephone. As with any sales role, you’ll succeed through frequentcustomer contact, development of a sales pipeline, and developmentof successful habits that drive above plan performance andrewards. Each day would be different from the next in an interactivefast paced environment. The initial training period is 4 weeks but you will continue toreceive ongoing training & development to help yousucceed. Communication with our customers is energetic, lively and freeflowing. Once you have completed the training and introductory periodsuccessfully, you will be eligible to manage existing customers inthe territory. Upon being assigned a sizable additionalresponsibility, you will earn additional compensation. This is an inside sales role and the beginning of a rewardingcareer with Airgas. You will manage a territory, plan your salespipeline and professionally work to maintain and grow businessthrough use of the telephone and digital means.
