Role As a Selling Event Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving customer engagement and enhancing brand visibility through dynamic product demonstrations and effective communication. Reporting to the VP Relationship Manager, your core skills in customer service and product knowledge will ensure a memorable experience for our treasured consumers. Utilizing your premium skills in sales and event marketing, you will promote products and gather valuable data to inform future strategies. Your ability to connect with diverse audiences, coupled with relevant skills in branding and public speaking, will position you as a vital asset in our marketing initiatives. Positively impact the customer experience at the retail store level by accurately assessing the deli service needs throughout the day and adjusting focus to meet changing needs. Actively engage with the deli customers through timely and sincere acknowledgment, proactive companion selling, and product knowledge. Develop Brand loyalty and grow Brand usage by providing recipe ideas to deli customers. Build rapport with deli customers to create and maintain loyal fans of Boar’s Head Brand products. Host a variety of in-store sampling and product pairing events focusing on product presentation. Build awareness of Boar’s Head Brand premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers through product sampling. Actively promote Boar’s Head Brand products by educating consumers on flavor, nutritional information, quality, and complimentary products. Requirements Possess a positive, energetic, and serving attitude. Possess a creative mindset with the ability to problem solve and think ‘outside the box’. Ability to lift up to 50lbs & stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision. Ability to reliably travel to various locations within an assigned territory. Ability to use a smart device (iPhone or Android) to complete daily selling event reports/missions. Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned
