Sunday-ThursdayDescriptionThe MobilizationDirector plays a critical role in fostering deep connectionsbetween members and the mission of Peachtree Church. This positionleads the way in creating a culture of engagement, whereindividuals are encouraged to grow spiritually, build meaningfulrelationships, and serve the church and community with purpose andpassion. The Mobilization Director will lead the “Share”initiative, a key component of Peachtree’s 5-year strategic plan,which is dedicated to serving at Peachtree, in the community, andaround the world.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with senior leadership todevelop long-term engagement strategies that align with thechurch’s mission and vision. Regularly assess and refine theseinitiatives to enhance effectiveness and impact.
Member Engagement:
Design pathways for new visitors and membersto engage in service opportunities both within the church and inthe broader community.
Ministry Promotion and Participation:
Lead efforts to increaseengagement across key ministry areas (e.g., children’s ministry,youth ministry, hospitality, and missions), ensuring that allmembers have opportunities to serve, grow, and buildrelationships.
Volunteer Recruitment and Development:
Partner with ministryleaders to recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers for churchevents, programs, and initiatives.
Communication Strategy:
Work alongside the communications teamto develop and implement effective messaging across variousplatforms (website, social media, email, newsletters) to engage thecongregation and promote church activities, events, andopportunities.
Congregational Feedback and Needs Assessment:
Regularly engagewith church members to gather feedback, understand their needs, andidentify areas for improvement in engagement.
Leadership Development:
Build and equip teams of leaders tochampion engagement efforts, including ministry leaders, groupleaders, and volunteers.
Technology and Systems:
Integrate technology to enhance churchengagement through tools such as church apps, virtual platforms,and online groups. Ensure that both in-person and remote memberscan remain connected.
Qualifications Qualifications A passionate, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and aheart for connecting people to the church and its mission. Bachelor’s degree. At least 4 years ofexperience in church ministry and volunteerengagement. Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonalskills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to create and implement strategic plans forcongregation engagement. At least 4 years of experience in volunteer management, eventplanning, and leading large teams. Tech-savvy with experience using church management software,social media platforms, and virtual meeting tools. Collaborative leadership style with flexibility, creativity,and a problem-solving mindset to address challenges related toengagement and connection.
