Full Job Description Dan’s Discount Tools Position:

Full-Time Auction Associate Schedule:

Monday

• Friday, 7:30am
• 3:30pm

Breaks:

1 paid lunch per day (30 min)

Management:

Dan Macheca (Owner) and Jim Mielke (President) General Job Scope Prepare a 500 lot auction every week (Monday

• Friday). On Wednesdays, facilitate auction pickup. Auctions run every Monday
• Sunday with pick up every Wednesday and Saturday. You might be asked to work 3 hours on a Saturday from time to time. General Daily Schedule Monday
• Finish pulling products and start taking pictures. Tuesday
• Take pictures. Pull auction orders and stage auction pickup area. Wednesday
• Wednesday is auction pickup day. Customers that won items on the previous Sunday come to them up. Set up auction signs. Resume taking pictures of items. Thursday
• Catalogue orders that were not picked up on Wednesday. Finish taking pictures of auction items. Friday
• Begin pulling products from the stock room on the 1st floor, 2nd floor, 4th floor, and 7th floor.

Products will also be allocated by management. Additionally, auction employees are responsible for keeping the 1st, 2nd, and 4th floors organized. Additional Employee Responsibilities It is the responsibility of the employee to ask questions when they don’t know what to do next. We do an auction every week. For example, if all 500 lots are 100% completed (items pulled, pictures taken, and spreadsheet complete), you can start the next auction. Requirements Must pass a background check. Must agree to the “drug-free workplace” policy. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs from the ground multiple times per day. Must be comfortable working customers one day per week and when needed. Willingness to work in a warehouse that is not climate controlled. Nice to have Ability to drive a forklift. Ability to drive a stick shift box truck. Experience with Microsoft Excel and smart phones. Knowledge of tools and industrial supplies. Benefits PTO/Sick Time

• 80 hours per year.

Paid Federal holidays:
