Full Job Description Description:
The Event and Tradeshow Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events and tradeshows for EMS|MC. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will travel approximately 10-15% of the time to oversee event and tradeshow logistics.
Major Responsibilities/Activities Event Planning and Coordination:
Plan, organize, and execute company events and tradeshows from start to finish. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.
Vendor Management:
Identify and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues. Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality services and products are delivered on time and within budget.
Logistics and On-Site Management:
Oversee all logistical aspects of events and tradeshows, including setup, tear down, and transportation. Ensure all events and tradeshows are compliant with safety and regulatory standards. Travel to event and tradeshow locations to manage on-site operations and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies for events and tradeshows. Ensure brand consistency and visibility at all events and tradeshows.
Post-Event Analysis:
Collect and analyze feedback from attendees, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Prepare post-event reports to evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Required Education, Skills, & Experience 3+ years of experience in event planning, tradeshow management, or a similar role. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time. Ability to lift and carry event materials and equipment as needed.
