⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Seeking legacy media authors (NYT, WSJ…) to own their voice on our platform (New York) The Empire City Wire ‹ image 1 of 3 › compensation: Unpaid with paid opportunities available employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Senior Contributor We are looking for writers from legacy outlets to come and take advantage of The Empire City Wire’s website and their voice. You will have total ownership over your articles. This is a really unique opportunity for recently laid off or unemployed authors to make a name for themselves as they build their personal brand and reputation alongside The Empire City Wire’s from the ground up. We are interested in any level of participation whether it be those looking for a side hustle, part-time job, seasonal, hobby, etc. Compensation is based on commission. Because we are such a young publication there is no salary but commission is 50% for those that are able to bring paying clients to the platform and offer them our advertising packages like native articles or insertions across the website.
