Title Company Closing Agent Jubilee HR Consultants, LLC Gulf Shores, AL 36542 Title Company Closing Agent Jubilee HR Consultants, on behalf of our client, is recruiting for the position of Closing Agent to work in a busy regional title company. This key team member will oversee and/or execute all real estate closings. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in real estate principles and fully understand the legal aspects of property transfer. Essential Functions of the Role Facilitate the closing process, ensuring all conditions are met and documents are signed. This involves collaborating and coordinating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders and other relevant parties. Prepare and review all necessary documents for real estate transactions, including deeds, mortgages, and settlement statements. Conduct final reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure that legal settlement documents are recorded with the appropriate county government. Review and analyze property titles to identify any issues or discrepancies. Ensure clear and marketable titles for all transactions. Proactively resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the title and escrow process. Provide solutions to ensure smooth transactions. Manage escrow accounts, including the receipt and disbursement of funds. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory laws, company policy, procedures and practices. Stay current regarding changes in the real estate industry. Educate team members regarding compliance. Assist in drafting/updating related company policies, standard operating procedures, and job aids such as closing checklists, training materials, and other documentation. Continuously improve the closing process to efficiently and accurately deliver excellent client service. Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance and accurate record keeping. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field preferred. Licensed closing agent, or the ability to become licensed in the near future, is strongly preferred. Work history that demonstrates professional maturity and dependability. Minimum of five (5) experience in title and escrow services. Strong understanding of real estate transactions, property transfer, title insurance, and related compliance. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Some experience in team leadership preferred. Proficiency in relevant software and technology. Experience in Qualia a plus.
