The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing activities, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This position requires strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of property management practices. Responsibilities of Leasing Agent Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits. Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. Leasing agent must maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities. Develop and implement effective upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates. Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective tenants through excellent customer relationship management. Assist with administrative tasks related to leasing, including maintaining tenant files and processing rental applications. Collaborate with property management teams to address tenant concerns and facilitate smooth operations. Qualifications of Leasing Agent Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping. Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to leasing agreements and tenant rights. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
