Leasing Agent Confidential Jacksonville, FL 32256 Our rapidly expanding Real Estate Management company is seeking a full-time, seasoned Leasing Consultant for our property in Jacksonville, FL to be responsible for all leasing and sales at the community. The Leasing Consultant performs all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and lease renewals and must have a minimum of two years sales/leasing experience or equivalent. A successful candidate should have proven sales and closing ability and must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, solid interpersonal and computer skills. Responsibilities Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key features. Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. Provide exceptional customer service to current and potential tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local rental laws, including Section 8 and LIHTC regulations. Assist in marketing efforts to attract new tenants, utilizing effective upselling techniques. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure facilities are well-maintained and compliant with legal standards. Handle administrative tasks related to leasing activities, including filing contracts and maintaining tenant records. Requirements Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of legal administrative processes and relevant laws governing leasing agreements. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs and LIHTC compliance is a plus. Proficient in facilities management practices and contract administration. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
