Leasing Consultant MFSS Tampa, FL 33609 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the leasing process for our properties, ensuring a positive experience for potential tenants. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a thorough understanding of property management practices. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations and assisting with property maintenance as needed. Responsibilities Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants. Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. Maintain organized files and records related to tenant applications and leases. Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication and follow-up with potential tenants. Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies to attract new residents. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process. Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information and property management systems, including OneSite. Collaborate with maintenance staff to address tenant concerns regarding property maintenance issues. Stay informed about local real estate trends and market conditions to provide accurate information to potential renters. Experience Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred. Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in data entry and file management. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role. Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to leasing agreements is beneficial.
