Position Overview:
We are seeking a Leasing Associate who is local to the area and ready to take the lead in showcasing and leasing residential properties. This is a flexible, commission-based role ideal for licensed real estate professionals looking to supplement their sales activity or for driven individuals with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The position offers exposure to ongoing leasing commissions ($1,500-$2,000/month on average) and opportunities for buyer/seller referrals from our active client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Photograph and market available rental properties across platforms including AppFolio, Zillow, and Stellar MLS Coordinate and lead in-person property tours with prospective tenants Evaluate applications by verifying income, credit, background, and rental history Draft lease agreements for residential and commercial units Deliver required disclosures and confirm tenant compliance prior to move-in Interface with property management, accounting, and ownership teams from listing to lease execution Maintain accurate data and documentation in AppFolio and OneDrive Ensure all activity complies with Florida landlord-tenant law and fair housing regulations
Qualifications:
Must reside in or near the Tarpon Springs-Port Richey area Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Florida Real Estate License preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with AppFolio, MLS, and digital lease platforms a plus Knowledge of Florida landlord-tenant law or willingness to complete training within the first 2 weeks Ability to work independently while maintaining accurate records and timely responses
Compensation:
Commission-Based:
Estimated earnings of $1,500-$2,000/month Additional organic buyer/seller leads may be available through brokerage operations Flexible hours with potential to grow within the company Favorable referral program for new property management accounts added by the Leasing Associate Additional opportunity for part-time, hourly paid work with the firm’s management office
