Leasing Consultant:
Conduct guided tours of apartments for potential residents. Complete leasing paperwork and facilitate rental deposits. Ensure that showcase apartments are prepared for viewing. Possess a comprehensive understanding of lease terms, property specifications, and community regulations. Utilize effective sales techniques and closing strategies. Stay informed about current market trends. Familiarize oneself with the community’s pricing and amenities. Maintain communication with apartment locator services and local businesses to stay competitive. Conduct regular assessments of competitor communities. Acquire thorough knowledge of rental application requirements, screening procedures, and rental policies. Engage in outreach marketing activities on a weekly basis. Develop and implement resident retention initiatives to encourage lease renewals. Organize and maintain resident and property records. Handle resident inquiries and grievances professionally and promptly. Assist in the collection of overdue rent payments. Knowledgeable in
Landlord-Tenant Laws and Fair Housing Laws Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience in the apartment industry in a comparable capacity. Proficiency in RealPage/LRO, Entrata, or equivalent systems is essential. While a college degree is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Demonstrated expertise in customer service is a prerequisite. Valid Driver’s License.
