The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with prospective residents. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for touring prospective residents, following up and working towards securing leases with prospects, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations at all times. is definitely a plus! Consultant schedule is Tuesday-Friday 10a-6p, Saturday 10a-5p. Responsibilities Conduct property tours with prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits of the community. This includes in person and video call tours. Assist in the application process, including verifying information and following up with management. Utilize leasing software to maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements. Stay informed about Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance throughout the leasing process. Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries from potential renters, and respond to all online inquiries within a timely manner. Collaborate with property management to address tenant concerns and enhance overall resident experience. Maintain knowledge of local rental market to provide accurate information to clients. Skills Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for both tenants and property owners. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with prospective and current residents. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations to ensure ethical leasing practices. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Background in sales is a big plus!
