The Leasing Agent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the leasing process for our tax credit-eligible Nirvana Breckenridge property. This includes working with prospective residents to identify their housing needs, showing available units, completing lease agreements, and assisting with move-ins and move-outs as needed. The Leasing Agent must have a strong understanding of tax credit regulations and be able to communicate these requirements to potential residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with prospective residents to discuss their housing needs and assist them in identifying suitable units Show available units to prospective residents and provide them with information about the property, amenities, and lease terms Complete lease agreements and ensure that all necessary documentation is collected and processed in a timely manner Screen prospective residents’ applications to ensure they meet the minimum requirements for acceptance in accordance with company policies Assist with the move-in process, including conducting property inspections, understanding the property management software, and assisting with paperwork Maintain accurate records of all leasing activity and perform regular follow-up with prospective and current residents Stay up-to-date on tax credit regulations and requirements, and provide guidance to residents as needed
Qualifications:
1.5+ years of experience in property management or leasing, with a focus on tax credit properties Strong understanding of tax credit regulations and requirements Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and property management software We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
