The Leasing Agent is a dynamic sales professional responsiblefor converting prospects into residents through active engagementand superior customer service. This role focuses on managing thefull sales cycle from initial contact through lease execution,while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws,as well as company policies and procedures. The position requiresan active real estate license and reports to the Leasing Manager orSenior Leasing Manager. Schedule Full-time position working Tuesdaythrough Saturday with rotating Monday assignments as needed duringpeak leasing season. Evening hours may be required as businessneeds demand. Core Responsibilities Lead Management & SalesActively engage with prospects and applicants through multiplecommunication channels including phone, SMS, email, and chat boxDemonstrate strong sales techniques and objection handling tomaximize conversion rates Guide prospects through the self-touringprocess using Rently smart lock technology Help prospects identifysuitable homes based on their requirements and preferences Maintaindetailed prospect interactions in the company’s CRM system Meet orexceed established conversion metrics and Service Level Agreements(SLAs) Application Processing Actively manage the applicationpipeline to maximize conversion rates while maintaining qualitycontrol standards Review and validate applicant information throughmodern verification systems to ensure accuracy and completenessFamiliarity of Plaid and other digital verification tools for IDand income verification, with ability to process traditionaldocumentation when required Review screening results againstcompany policies and guidelines, escalating exception requests withproper documentation when needed Proactively work the applicationpipeline to minimize processing time and maintain high conversionrates while ensuring compliance Drive application completionthrough proactive communication and follow-up with applicants ateach stage of the process Lease Execution Execute resident leasesusing standardized company documents and addendums Ensure accuracyand completeness of all lease documentation Guide new residentsthrough the move-in process Marketing & Property PresentationSubmit property listings corrections and timely updates to centralproperty marketing team for temporary removal or reactivation ofproperties as needed Maintain comprehensive knowledge of availableinventory and market conditions to effectively guide prospects andprovide valuable insights to leadership Required QualificationsActive Real Estate License 1-2 years of sales/marketing experiencein the Property Management industry highly preferred Current andvalid driver’s license Excellent communication and interpersonalskills Strong sales ability and customer service orientationAdvanced computer proficiency with emphasis on CRM and propertymanagement software Experience with Yardi and Salesforce preferredbut not required Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel,Word) Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strongattention to detail and organizational skills Adaptable to newtechnology and software platforms Work Environment This roleoperates primarily in a professional office environment. Regularcomputer and phone work in an office setting Occasional fieldvisits to company assets as required by management Ability to movearound the office and properties when needed Primary use ofcomputers and modern telecommunications equipment
