The Leasing Agent will be responsible for leading the marketing and coordinating the leasing process with new and existing tenants. This includes working with prospective residents to identify their housing needs, showing available units, completing lease agreements, and assisting with move-ins and move-outs as needed. The Leasing Agent must also be able to service the existing tenants, take payments and renew their leases.
Key Responsibilities:
Market to prospective residents on social media and assist them in identifying suitable units Show available units to prospective residents and provide them with information about the property, amenities, and lease terms Complete lease agreements and ensure that all necessary documentation is collected and processed in a timely manner Screen prospective residents’ applications to ensure they meet the minimum requirements for acceptance in accordance with company policies Assist with the move-in process, including conducting property inspections, understanding the property management software, and assisting with paperwork Maintain accurate records of all leasing activity and perform regular follow-up with prospective and current residents Stay up-to-date on tax credit regulations and requirements, and provide guidance to residents as needed
Qualifications:
