Primary FunctionThe Loan Partner positionallows someone with the desire to get into the mortgage business anopportunity to do so without any prior experience. They areresponsible for supporting a sales team to ensure we retain as manypurchase customers as possible. Support comes from assisting in theday-to-day front end process including communicating withcustomers, collecting documents, analyzing documents and submittingfiles to our operations team. The position is designed to be a10-12 month program with the end goal of obtaining their loanofficer license by passing SAFE and then being promoted to aproducing loan officer. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with a highvolume of loan files Contact pre-qualified customers to obtain documents needed forpre-approval Analyze income and asset documentation to issue apre-approval Once customer is under contract work with them to completee-sign and collect any additional documents needed to submit a fullfile to our operations team. Work with our operations team on troubleshooting anythingmissing or information needed for underwriting. Provide consumers with a superior level of customerservice. Stay informed of developing trends in the mortgageindustry. Attend/assist with scheduled meetings, training sessions andcourses. Maintain compliance with all industry-specific federal andstate licensed activity requirements and company’s Code ofConduct. Perform additional projects and duties as assigned bysupervisor.

Education and Experience RequirementsTwo-year collegedegree or equivalent preferred.

Must qualify for and obtain statelicensure in the states where the company does business.

Sales andcustomer service experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skill and AbilityRequirements Ability to quickly connect with people in an outgoing, friendlymanner. Strong sense of responsibility for completing work quickly andaccurately. Ability to handle faster-than-average pace of activities Detail-orientation with efficient focus on work activities Careful decision-making skill with ability to avoidmistakes. Excellent oral, written, listening, and organizationalskills.
