Business Leadership GIS Analytics Information Technology Full Job Description Purpose :
This position is responsible for owning and optimizing the analytic systems and processes that support the Real Estate and other internal teams that leverage data to support Floor & Decor stores success. In addition, the position is directly responsible for site analytics that informs decision-making related to Floor & Decor’s new store opening portfolio. The Manager will act as the primary point of contact for external vendors supporting key systems and datasets, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business needs. This position will lead key analytics initiatives and manage resources to ensure alignment with business objectives. In addition, this this position will also be responsible for delivering analytics and insights to internal teams that support corporate initiatives and projects, help answer key strategic questions and provide internal and external reporting vital to day-to-day decisions.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Data Science, or another related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in analytics/reporting, business analysis, consulting, or project management, with demonstrated experience leading complex data initiatives and managing external vendors or partners. Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, draw inferences and conclusions from data and develop fact-based recommendations. Strong computer skills and proficiency with data analysis and management tools, e.g. MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc., experience with GIS systems and mobile data platforms is a plus. Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors, including contract oversight, SLA adherence, and issue resolution. Must be detail-oriented and organized, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus customer/end-user success. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment background check. Experience managing direct reports or cross-functional teams. Experience managing project budgets and resource allocation.
Essential Job Functions:
MAINTENANCE & REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the Real Estate forecasting, GIS, and intelligence systems and act as the system administrator responsible for vendor coordination and system performance ensuring data quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in reporting tools and systems. Manage relationships with external vendors that provide data, software, or platforms in support of Real Estate analytics, including renewals, access management, and service levels. Work with internal teams (IT, CRM, Legal, Data Security) to support data delivery to external vendors required annually to maintain the systems and datasets that the Real Estate team leverages to evaluate sites and markets. Collaborate with Operations, Commercial Sales, Finance, and Marketing to provide timely data, reporting and information that supports new store openings and optimizes market and site analytics. Investigate, respond to, and resolve data privacy requests from customers as needed. Develop and mentor team and other stakeholders to build analytics capabilities within the organization. Authority to make decisions regarding system implementations, vendor selections, and resource allocation within approved budgets.
ANALYTICS RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide individual site analytics and ad-hoc analysis as requested by the Real Estate deal makers and/or other internal stakeholders to inform better decision-making. Collaborate with the Commercial Sales team to provide business contact lists that support new store prospecting and analyze outreach effectiveness to optimize business list generation on-going. Lead the analysis of various internal and external data sources that support strategic real estate decisions to identify insights and recommendations related to market planning, new store post-opening performance, and other ad-hoc analysis requested by internal stakeholders. Present insights and system/tool recommendations to senior stakeholders and influence adoption of best practices across the Real Estate organization. Drive the adoption of new tools, methods, and best practices within the analytics function, champion innovation and continuous learning among team members. Make strategic Real Estate/Store Development recommendations to senior leadership based on data insights and market trends. W orking Conditions (travel & environment) Travel required including air and car travel (at least 25%). The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
