Overview:

The Senior Land Agent is responsible for the acquisition of land, property rights, licenses, leases, and permits required for the construction, operation and/or maintenance of pipelines and public infrastructure. The Senior Land Agent is the point of contact between TRC and landowners, government agencies and other third parties affected by projects It is their responsibility to keep communication open among all invested parties.

Responsibilities:

Negotiate for the acquisition of land, property rights, licenses, leases, and permits with landowners Prepare legal documents for transactions and present property transfer agreements to landowners Communicate status of stakeholder interactions with project management Analyze landowners counter offers and negotiate solutions to satisfy all parties at the direction of management Once Right of Way is obtained, ensure construction crews and other professionals have unobstructed access project area Settle damage claims with landowners caused or created during the construction, maintenance, or use of pipelines and infrastructure. Properly prepare, maintain and revise (as needed) of project files, right of way maps, records, drawings, exhibits and necessary progress reports.

Qualifications:

Two years of experience minimum in acquisition or right of way activities. Bachelors’ degree in business, real estate, construction management or related fields preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Basic Proficiency in Google Earth and/or other GIS software Basic competency in using land dataset software preferred Ability to read and understand title and appraisal reports and land surveys. Knowledgeable in real estate values and accepted practices Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures Benefits • : TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. Compensation :

In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
