Role:
We’re looking for a Development Associate to support the full lifecycle of multi-family real estate development—from site selection and underwriting through construction oversight and project completion. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external consultants to drive projects forward with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple development projects, maintaining timelines, budgets, and communication with internal and external teams. Conduct market research and assist with site selection, due diligence, and acquisition efforts. Underwrite projects and maintain financial models to evaluate investment returns. Support entitlement, permitting, and compliance processes with local and state agencies. Oversee construction milestones, budgets, change orders, and consultant coordination. Partner with property management and asset management teams to optimize unit mix, marketing, and lease-up strategies.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred. 3-5 years in real estate development, finance, or construction (multi-family strongly preferred). Strong skills in Excel financial modeling, budgeting, and project management software (ARGUS a plus). Ability to analyze complex deals, read construction documents, and manage shifting priorities. Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strategic, problem-solving mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); willingness to travel as needed.
