ABOUT THE ROLE
Parker Poe is seeking an Associate with 3-6 years of commercial real estate experience to join their Real Estate & Commercial Development Practice Group in Charlotte or Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition, including drafting and negotiating complex purchase and sale agreements, easement agreements, and declarations of restrictive covenants and negotiating loan documents for construction and permanent financing. Candidates must be licensed in North Carolina, have strong academic credentials, and possess excellent communication skills. Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm practice is preferred.

Our attorneys have a breadth of experience representing both lenders and borrowers in real estate financing projects, allowing our team to advise clients on all sides of a real estate transaction. The real estate transactions team at Parker Poe has bought, sold, leased, and developed millions of square feet of property and acres of land on behalf of client projects. We can handle a broad variety of deal sizes efficiently. Our transactions team is also supported by colleagues in our construction, tax, corporate finance, condemnation, environmental, and economic development practices to handle any issue related to a real estate project.
