Leasing Consultant Chelsea Village Partners 3300 Fairmount Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and leasing residential properties while providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This role requires a strong understanding of property management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adhere to Fair Housing regulations. Duties Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters. Assist clients in the leasing process, including completing applications and processing contracts. Maintain knowledge of local market trends and competitive properties to effectively upsell available units. Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries from prospective tenants. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process. Manage tenant relations by addressing concerns and facilitating communication between residents and management. Utilize property management software, such as Yardi, for tracking leads, applications, and lease agreements. Collaborate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. Assist with Section 8 housing applications and compliance as necessary. Requirements Previous experience in property management or leasing is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and laws related to property leasing. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Proficient in using property management software; experience with Yardi is a plus. Ability to effectively upsell properties based on client needs and preferences. Knowledge of facilities management practices is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about the leasing process and industry best practices.
