The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing activities, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This position requires strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively upsell our properties. Responsibilities Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants, highlighting features and benefits. Manage the leasing process from application through move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. Maintain knowledge of local market trends and competitor properties to effectively market available units. Assist in the development of marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process. Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner. Perform data entry tasks related to leasing activities and maintain accurate records in the property management system. Collaborate with maintenance staff using CMMS to address tenant requests and ensure timely resolution of issues. Requirements Previous experience in property management or leasing is preferred. Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective conflict management. Ability to upsell properties and engage potential tenants positively. Proficiency in data entry and office software applications. Knowledge of law related to property management is a plus.
