• Experience Supervising staff members
• General Ledger Maintenance
• Complete understanding and familiarity of all Balance Sheet accounts
• Ability to understand and interpret financial statements
• Preparation of Financing/Sale packages to Banks/Brokers
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as mortgages and notes
• JE preparation for Sales/Financing transactions
• Prepare template JE for Insurance and RE tax expense
• Respond to all bank reporting inquiries
• Prepare all Township/City inquiries real estate tax appeals
• Maintain schedules for Deferred Leasing Commissions and Deferred Mtge Costs
• Review reconciliation of capital/distribution accounts
• Work/Communicate with outside accountants regarding tax return preparation
• Create and coordinate with property managers to prepare annual budgets
• Provide support for legal, management and accounting departments
• Coordinate and execute special projects as requested Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (B. S. – Accounting) from four-year college/university or relevant accounting experience
• Two to five years of experience in Real Estate Accounting Computer Skills
• Knowledge of Yardi software and must have above average Excel skills
