Associate Attorney, Real Estate Position Available In Queens, New York

Associate Attorney, Real Estate William A. Slutsky, P.C. Queens, NY Real estate law firm searching for an attorney with 0-2 years of experience. The firm has an active residential practice, representing buyers and sellers of residential real estate in the City of New York and surrounding suburbs as well as a commercial practice, with a focus on the representation of condominium and cooperative boards. An ability to bring in business is a plus but not a requirement. The position will involve extensive client contact from the outset. It will also involve preparing contracts of sale, reviewing diligence for residential transactions, preparing files for closing and fielding questions from clients, brokers and opposing counsel. The right candidate will ultimately become highly skilled at residential closings and will also acclimate to commercial transactions. We require that the candidate has passed the NYS Bar exam and has either been admitted or pending admission. The candidate must be detail-oriented, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task.
