Experienced Real Estate Associate Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP Rye, NY 10580 Real Estate Associate (Seeking 2+ years experience) A national law firm with offices in New York, California and New Jersey seeks a real estate associate for its Rye, New York office. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Admission to practice in New York Minimum of two years of experience practicing as a real estate associate Experience Requirements The successful candidate will have: Experience representing cooperative and condominium boards Familiarity with governing documents such as proprietary leases, bylaws, declarations, and house rules Experience drafting and negotiating AIA contracts and access agreements Proficiency in drafting contracts of sale for both commercial and residential transactions Experience drafting leases for retail, office, and/or warehouse spaces Ideal Candidate Attributes The ideal candidate will: Have experience handling complex commercial and/or residential real estate transactions Demonstrate strong drafting skills and the ability to manage deals from contract to closing Exhibit a proven ability to work with diverse personalities, including board members and property managers Be comfortable managing a varied caseload independently, including legal research, drafting, attending closings, and client meetings Excel in collaborating with supervising attorneys on complex matters Provide clear, practical legal advice and build strong, long-term client relationships Why Join Us This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate matters in a supportive, collaborative environment with room for growth and client development.
