Responsibilities Respond to all rental inquiries with urgency and care Schedule showings and coordinate with prospective tenants to tour properties, answer questions and finalize terms of leases Conduct property tours with qualified applicants Submit background checks, review reference letters, confirm rental history and income verification, and lease application review Conduct home inspections throughout the leasing season Build and maintain a rapport with current and prospective tenants Use sales tactics and negotiation skills to execute terms of lease Confirm leased units are move in ready and properly keyed for new tenants Ensure tenants receive appropriate communication on tenant portal activation, online payments, and move-in checklists Qualifications Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Works well under pressure and deadlines Multitasking and time management skills Comprehensive negotiation skills and sales techniques Collaborative nature and team player mentality Great customer service skills with personable yet professional demeanor Experience with AppFolio and Slack beneficial but not required Requirements Flexible schedule – Rotating nights and weekends are mandatory Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle are required Must pass criminal background check 1-2 years experience in leasing preferred Previous sales experience Salary/Benefits $40,000-$45,000/year base salary plus commission per lease/renewal signed 401(k) matching Paid time off
