The Post-Closer is responsible for handling correspondence related to post-closing Real Estate matters. This position reports directly to the Real Estate Division Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Associate’s degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent. Real estate focus preferred. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a real estate paralegal. Extensive knowledge of real estate documents, standard practices, contracts, applications, and submissions. Competency in legal project management software, such as Qualia. Superb organizational, time management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Excellent collaboration and communication abilities. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be deadline sensitive and able to manage multiple priorities to meet commitments without sacrificing quality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with various corrective title measures Recording documents in the ROD Transmittal of executed loan documents and final policies Remittance of payment checks Handling thorough communications with existing and previous clients and colleagues Following up on mortgage and lien satisfactions All other post-closing duties as assigned.
