The Leasing Professional is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to prospective and current residents, supporting all aspects of the leasing process, and contributing to the overall success of the apartment community. This role involves showing apartments, processing applications, and assisting with marketing and resident retention initiatives. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and passionate about helping people find their new home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage prospective residents, answer inquiries, and provide tours of the property and available units.
• Guide applicants through the leasing process, including application completion, screening, and lease signing.
• Follow up with prospects and maintain accurate records of leads and communications.
• Support marketing efforts by updating online listings, participating in outreach, and assisting with resident events.
• Ensure model units and common areas are clean, presentable, and ready for showings.
• Respond to resident questions and concerns, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of property policies, pricing, and availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is highly desirable.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to tour the property, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs as needed.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in both office and property settings.
• Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for resident events or to accommodate prospective residents.
