Real Estate Agent – Loan Originator
For Mill, SC General Summary The RELO’s primary duty is making sales of residential mortgage loan products to home buyers. The RELO is a salesperson who is customarily and regularly engaged in making sales away from Envoy’s branch offices or the RELO’s home office. Loan origination activities constitute no more than 25% of the RELO’s time, which is primarily spent conducting sales activities. Duties and Responsibilities The primary job duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Create sales opportunities by promoting Envoy’s loan products to other realtors, builders, home buyers, and referral sources
Generate and qualify leads and meet with potential clients
Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients
Solicit & procure new loan applications by meeting with and presenting loan products to potential clients
Educate home buyers on current loan product offerings and programs for which they qualify
Meet with potential home buyers in homes listed for sale and real estate offices to make sales pitches
Ensure all marketing is performed in a manner that is compliant
Use Envoy’s point of sale system to create new loan applications
Provide dual capacity disclosure and if applicable, affiliated business arrangement disclosure to potential clients
Take regular sales training
Work primarily away from Envoy’s office without set hours
Is primarily commission-based based on performance
Assist with collection of financial information (tax returns, bank statements, etc.) and other related documents that are required as part of the application process
Request and gather relevant information/documents from the borrower to complete the application, its structure and all loan disclosures
Authorize credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications, and title work
Ensure maintenance of active real estate and NMLS licenses
Comply with local, state and federal laws regarding position
Adhere to all Envoy standards, including, but not limited to production minimums and customer service
Conduct business in an ethical manner and in the best interest of Envoy, with Envoy’s core values in mind
Any additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Listed below are the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform this role. These qualifications are necessary for someone to be considered for this position.
Qualifications include:
Strong sales experience and sales expertise
Licensed real estate agent or broker
Must have NMLS and SAFE, UST, preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV)
Exceptional follow-up, time management, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn, self- motivated, social media savvy and a forward thinker
Excellent customer service skills and working in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills are a must
Must be a self-starter who is reliable, detail oriented and the ability to resolve issues
Strong relationship building a must, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze issues and create effective resolutions, while managing multiple projects at one time Physical Requirements The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
