Leasing Consultant Kibo Capital Knoxville, TN 37909 The Willows of West Hills in Knoxville is currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic leasing agent to join our team and help us make our property the best place to live! Job Summary In this role, you will be in charge of meeting and qualifying potential tenants, giving property tours, preparing lease documents, helping out with marketing activities, and keeping our residents happy! Your mission is to ensure that every prospective tenant feels at home from the moment they walk through our doors. Duties/Responsibilities Manages all leases from potential and existing tenants. Coordinates property viewings and follow-ups. Coordinates and schedule lease applications and adhere to compliance requirements. Handles the preparation and execution of lease documents, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete. Coordinates the move-in process. Maintains tenant and property information in Appfolio. Accepts and process rent payments. Assists in marketing the property through various channels, including social media, community events, and more. Contributes to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community. Maintains positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and ensuring they have a fantastic living experience. Follows policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing, state and federal laws. Fields general questions from tenants and follow up with resolution. Provides back-up to grounds maintenance with duties such as watering plants, basic pool care, tidying outdoor furniture, etc. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills to learn property management software. Ability to understand lease agreements, fair housing laws, and maintenance procedures. Education and Experience At least two years of customer service and/or sales experience; multifamily leasing experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Fair Housing Certified (may certify within first 30 days of employment – course provided by employer). Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to walk all areas of property and climb multiple flights of stairs in all types of weather.
