We are seeking a motivated and friendly Rental Agent / Customer Service Representative to join our Orlando team.
Position Overview:
As a Rental Agent / Customer Service Representative at Routes Car Rental, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with vehicle rentals, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth rental process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Assistance:
Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email, providing information about rental options, pricing, and policies.
Reservation Management:
Process reservations, handle modifications or cancellations, and ensure accurate data entry into the reservation system.
Vehicle Preparation:
Inspect vehicles before and after rentals, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and in optimal condition.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
Sales and Upselling:
Promote additional services and products, such as insurance coverage and GPS rentals, to enhance the customer experience and company revenue.
Administrative Tasks:
Handle rental agreements, process payments, and maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies.
Reviews:
Provide good customer service and focus on getting reviews on google, expedia surveys.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service are a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in the car rental industry and sales is required.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
