Position Overview The MEP Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within construction projects. This role involves ensuring that all MEP systems are integrated effectively and comply with relevant standards and regulations, while also facilitating communication between project teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the design and installation of MEP systems in accordance with project specifications and building codes. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications to identify any potential conflicts or issues. Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance with safety and quality standards. Assist in the preparation of MEP project schedules and budgets. Facilitate communication between various project teams to resolve issues and ensure timely project delivery. Provide technical support and guidance on MEP-related queries and challenges. Implement energy management and sustainability practices in MEP designs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in MEP coordination within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and HVAC requirements. Familiarity with building codes and regulations. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software. Excellent project coordination and management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
