Overview of Role The Returns & Freight Claim Coordinator will have a key role in the growth of our exciting eCommerce company. Their focus will be to deliver great customer experience while managing and optimizing returns and refunds to customers and minimizing the financial impact to the company by making sure that freight claims are submitted on a timely basis and each claim is suitably resolved. This dedicated role ideally will have organizational smarts and an enthusiastic Customer first orientation. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients who want to return an order, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to analyze customer needs and deliver effective solutions will be key to ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. Since this role requires the candidate to be directly speaking with customers that have issues around product delivery and damage. The ideal candidate must have the positive energy to make the experience an overall success. Detailed Responsibilities and Role Content This is a multi-dimensional role with a range of responsibilities, including:
- Respond promptly to customer returns and freight claim inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring a high level of service.
- Provide correspondence and actively follow-up as needed to ensure communication between departments on return order issues
- Analyze customer issues and provide appropriate solutions or escalate as necessary.
- Coordinate with Merchant team in identifying trends in returns / claims.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our computerized system.
- Process refunds as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Provide information about defective products to Management on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that all client communications are professional, clear, and courteous.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Assist in other business and project needs as requested Key Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience handling returns and Freight Claims
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Proficient in using office software and computerized systems for record keeping and communication.
- Proficient in using NetSuite, Shopify, Gorgias, Aircall a plus ( or other CSR Tools)
- Ability to type efficiently while engaging with customers on various platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
- Analyzing data and drawing conclusions.
- You collaborate well with others, know how to prioritize competing demands

Location for Role The role will be a part-time role estimated at 20 to 25 hours per week. The role will be in person in our Smyrna, GA offices.
