Self Storage Associate (Saturdays) Coastal Management 270 Communication Way, Hyannis, MA 02601 Self Storage Associate – Saturdays Coastal Management is looking for a Self Storage Associate to join our team in Hyannis. We are looking for a part-time associate for Saturdays from 9am-4pm. We are looking for an employee who has a positive attitude and works well independently. Availability to work Saturdays is required; and being open to covering other shifts as needed and available is a plus. Responsibilities Work and communicate with the weekday site manager to run the day-to-day operations of the business. Sell the benefits of the storage facility to rent self storage units. Guide new customers through the rental processes and agreements. Provide exceptional customer service. Welcome customers in a friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner. Work with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions that will contribute to their storage experience. Manage cash and balance receipts; assist site manager pursue collections, post payments and process daily bank deposits accurately. Maintain a neat, clean, safe and secure office and facility including light maintenance and daily lock checks. Control delinquencies by contacting tenants via telephone, email and mail. May be required to run errands for the facility. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in retail sales, restaurant, sales associate, or other customer-centered selling roles preferred. A positive can-do attitude. Energetic, outgoing and customer-oriented personality. Familiarity with computers. Ability to lift 25+ lbs Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation Background check may be conducted as well as drug screening in accordance with local laws and regulations.
