$37.9K – $48.8K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level Microsoft Office Organizational skills Communication skills Full Job Description The role of the Sales Support Representative is to support our outside sales force in a variety of ways that ultimately help the company’s equipment retail sales efforts. There are many variables that are factored into quoting and selling heavy equipment, managing equipment inventory, maintaining customer and vendor relationships, etc. that must be well-managed in order for our sales department and company to be successful.
Responsibilities include:
Handling all requests submitted to the Inside Sales Department by the outside sales team in a timely and accurate manner. Generating Quotes (QPs): This includes gathering all costs from manufacturers and accurately inputting into the CEC QP form, listing all pertinent specs as necessary that the equipment cost is established from, ensuring the proper margin is set, ensuring all ancillary (freight, PDI, warranty, etc.) costs are included, etc.
Inventory:
This includes handling all inventory related questions, ordering of machines through specific dealer portals, proper receipt-in and setup of machines, etc. (including attachment inventory). Reviewing of machine sales prior to invoicing within ERP to ensure accuracy of costs, sundry orders are complete, etc. Issuing/receiving purchase orders and ensuring proper receipt of charge from vendor. Managing (mostly) all things related to assigned original equipment manufacturers. This includes (but is not limited) maintaining a good working knowledge of all products, specifications, cost updates, inventory lead times, stocking programs, finance/lease programs, training offerings, warranty, registrations (when applicable), credit submissions, etc. Assisting with inventory management as it relates to our rental fleet, as well as new Sales stock fleet units. This includes constantly monitoring inventory levels to ensure we have the proper amount of inventory on hand / on order. Assisting with attachment inventory management as it relates to our rental fleet, as well as new Sales stock fleet units. This includes constantly monitoring inventory levels to ensure we have the proper mix of attachment inventory to match up to machine inventory. Assisting walk-in customers. This includes taking them on the equipment yard to see/operate equipment. Completing tasks related to various monthly sales and inventory reports (accrual reports, inventory status reporting, etc.) Completing monthly manufacturer inventory related reports (rental fleet updates, TOT reporting, warranty registration reporting, etc.) Engaging and working with the product support department to ensure all necessary jobs are opened/completed as it relates to Sales stock and retail equipment. This includes opening service order jobs and inputting proper notes within the job so that service department has clear direction on what is to be done. Completing various inventory related changes/updates within the system as needed Qualifications Positive attitude, extrovert personality Strong communication skills Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite Strong organization skills Ability to multi-task Heavy equipment experience is a plus
