POSITION SUMMARY

Bocar US, has an opportunity for a Lean Manufacturing Leader. The LM Leader willbe responsible for leading the BOS system and culture development within the organization through the coordination and deployment of BOS concepts in the operational plants (shop floor). Ensures that standards of BOS are known and implemented.

DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively participates with the local management team (steering team) in the annual workshop plan
• Participates in the definition, documentation, and publication of BOS standards and procedures, and ensures their compliance
• Supports training on standards and tools (ex 5S) and evaluates maturity and performance
• Promotes and supports the use of problem-solving methodologies
• Contributes to local productivities/savings through the use of BOS tools and methodologies. Tracks action plans on the 1and1 objective platform
• Evaluates the level of BOS maturity in the plants
• Leads the implementation of Beta teams
• Conduct Gemba walks (walk the line) and identify opportunities and waste
• Structures and leads local management meetings (steering team) and coordinates action plans
• Monitors and reports the indicators (KPIs) under its responsibility and defines corrective actions and plans of improvement.

Escalate critical issues to your Bocar Operating System Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

(including educational requirements)Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Must have minimum of 2-3 years of Lean manufacturing experience.

Ability to compile data and create reports in Microsoft Office applications.
