RESPONSIBILITIES
Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the following:
- Ability to learn/use computer software to enter, process, and track orders placed by our customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Receive/process credit card, cash and company check payments.
- Provide freight quotes/delivery fees applicable to inbound/outbound orders.
- Learn/understand trucking logistics in order to provide accurate ETA information to the customers and sales team.
- Communicate to customers and the sales team about any delays, back orders or issues with orders placed in our system.
- Notify customers when orders arrive.
- Ability to operate Reach truck forklift as well as standard sit-down forklift.
- Load/unload shipments or customers as needed.
- Pick/pull orders.
- Learn and perform shipping/receiving processes .
REQUIREMENTS
Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate will be required to have the following skills:
- High School Diploma as a minimum.
- Excellent grammar and communication skills.
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to operate a Reach truck forklift as well as standard sit-down forklift.
- Proficiency in working on a computer, data entry, order processing.
- Cash and credit card handling.
