As a Barn/Shed Salesperson, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting and purchasing barns and sheds that meet their specific needs. You will be responsible for understanding the features and benefits of different types of barns and sheds, effectively communicating with customers, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Flexible schedule (Tuesday-Saturday) Engage with customers and assess their requirements for barns and sheds. Present and demonstrate various barn and shed options, highlighting their features and benefits. Provide accurate and detailed information about pricing, customization options, and delivery timelines. Answer customer inquiries regarding product specifications, materials, and installation procedures. Assist customers in making informed decisions by offering recommendations based on their needs and budget. Prepare and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business. Maintain a clean and organized showroom, ensuring that displays are appealing and well-maintained. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and satisfactory manner.
Qualifications:
Previous sales experience, preferably in the construction or outdoor building industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships. Knowledge of barn and shed construction, materials, and customization options. Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
