The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining the store’s overall appearance. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean store environment. Supervise junior staff members when necessary and provide guidance on best practices in customer service. Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and assist customers over the phone. Skills Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customers. Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with customers. Ability to upsell products by understanding customer needs and preferences.
