General Description Dual faceted position responsible for general office/receptionist work and monitoring the

Computer Lab. The availability we are looking for is Monday and Wednesday 5 PM until 7 PM and Tuesday and Thursday 8 AM until 7PM. Essential Job Duties 1. Answer phones and take messages. 2. Run office-related errands. 3. Provide brief information about the program as requested. 4. Assist in creating flyers, newsletters, etc. 5. Assist with database entry as needed. 6. Monitor the use of the computer lab and troubleshoot printing issues. 7. Ensure that the lab is only utilized by current, active participants. 8. Report computers in need of repair to the supervisor. 9. Observe and report malfunctions and supply shortages. 10. Ensure the lab is secured at closing. 11. Maintain the general security of the lab equipment and the environment in the lab, including enforcement of policies and procedures. 12. Perform other job related duties as assigned. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities 1. Applicant must be a currently enrolled student at the University of Montevallo. 2. Excellent customer service skills are a must. 3. Knowledge of and experience with, Microsoft Office Products, including Excel and Publisher. 4.
