Garden Center Sales Associate McCallister’s Landscape Supply Lake Hamilton, AR 71913 Job Summary As a Garden Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their gardening and landscaping needs. Your expertise in plant care, lawn maintenance, and retail sales will help create a welcoming environment for our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the garden center’s appearance, ensuring that plants and products are well-organized and displayed attractively. Duties Assist customers in selecting plants, garden supplies, and landscaping materials based on their needs and preferences. load and unload inventory using skid steer. Provide knowledgeable advice on lawn care, and plant maintenance, to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the garden center, including watering plants, cleaning displays, and restocking shelves. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure clear understanding of gardening products and services. Experience Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. experience on skid steer is preferred but not required. On site training is provided. Retail sales experience is highly desirable, with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment seasonally. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members.
