Budtender Job Description Job Summary:

At Crisp Cannabis, we’re revolutionizing cannabis retail with a focus on quality, expertise, and innovation. As we prepare to open our adult-use dispensary in Bridgeport, Connecticut, we’re seeking passionate Budtenders to join our team. Reporting directly to our pharmacists, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by assisting with purchases, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the store clean and organized, while also supporting the Pharmacists with daily operations. Budtender Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection by answering questions and offering guidance. Provide clear information about cannabis products, including strains, usage methods, and effects. Ensure a friendly and enjoyable shopping experience for all visitors. Process purchases accurately using the POS system, managing cash and card payments efficiently. Verify cash drawer balance at shift’s end, reporting discrepancies to the Pharmacists. Conduct daily stock checks and restock shelves as needed. Notify Pharmacists of any inventory issues for resolution. Maintain a clean, welcoming store by tidying floors, surfaces, and displays. Arrange products and signage for an appealing look, including setting up promotional displays. Support Pharmacists with tasks like receiving deliveries, audits, and basic reporting. Adhere to company guidelines and stay updated through training on products, policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system. Detail-oriented, capable of accurately counting inventory and managing multiple tasks. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying highly organized. Effective communicator and collaborative team player. Must be 21 or older and pass a background check. Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or customer service experience, ideally in the cannabis industry (preferred). Basic understanding of cannabis products and industry trends (preferred).

Physical Demands:

The employee must stand for an eight-hour shift, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear. They will frequently stand and walk, occasionally sit, climb, or balance, and lift/move 15 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally. The job requires close and distant vision.
